This young man suffers an injury to his nose while playing basketball which results in crooked nose and nasal obstruction.  An external rhinoplasty approach facilitates the insertion of a right sided spreader graft to counteract the forces of healing resisting the repaired septum to contract come back to the right side, then asymmetric osteotomy to straighten the deviated nasal bone.  In addition, refinement of the dorsal and nasal tip contour is achieved in harmony.

Male facelift, Upper and lower blepharoplasty, Transconjunctival approach, Facial rejuvenation


This gentleman desires a younger look and is concerned over the descent of his eyelids and heavy jowls and the fullness of the soft tissue of his neck.  He underwent upper and lower blepharoplasty without external incision, full face and neck lift.  Postop photos show a much younger, rejuvenated, and natural look with defined supratarsal eyelid crease and jaw line and decreased fullness of the neck.

Lazy eye, Ptosis repair, Upper blepharoplasty, Levator advancement, Levator dehiscence, Visual field deficit

These two patients show eyelid ptosis or commonly known as lazy eye which affected their superior visual field on formal eye testing.  They underwent bilateral upper blepharoplasty with ptosis repair utilizing levator advancement flap sutured to the tarsal plate to correct the levator dehiscence.  Postop photos show increase marginal reflex distance (from the light reflex to the upper eyelid margin) most evident on eyebrow raise view.
